Caroline Maddison
Caroline Maddison is a multi disciplinary Artist with a passion for printmaking. When she joined Aberystwyth Printmakers her abilities were limited. She went on to develop over the years a wide range of printmaking skills learnt through some excellent workshops and courses at Aberystwyth University.
Caroline finds that she will choose which printmaking method suits a project each time and by moving between discipline’s she feels engaged with her work. Recently she has been interested in alternative ways of mark making away from the more traditional methods.
Ideas for her work has always come from nature and her love of animals, having lived in the heart of rural Wales for decades, she is never short of inspiration.
Caroline has delivered her own workshops, exhibited widely in her local area and been involved with collaborative projects here and abroad.
